Tap the bookmark icon in the centre of the tab bar. You can upload a photo of your notes, import a PDF, type or paste text, or import an audio recording. Candide's AI will generate a ready-to-study deck in seconds.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
The free plan lets you create up to 2 decks with unlimited reviews. Pro unlocks unlimited decks, exam scheduling, deck sharing, and Anki export.
How do I restore my Pro subscription?
Open the app → tap your profile → tap Upgrade → on the paywall, scroll down and tap "Restore purchases". Your subscription will be restored instantly if it is still active.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions, find Candide, and tap Cancel. You will keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
How does spaced repetition work?
Candide uses the FSRS-4.5 algorithm. After each card you rate it Again, Hard, or Got it — Candide then schedules the next review at the optimal moment to maximise retention.
Is my data secure?
All data is stored in a secure Supabase database with row-level security. Your content is never sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile tab → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete account". This will permanently delete all your decks, cards, and study history. This action cannot be undone.
